Introducing our new blog design

We just updated our blog.

When we moved to WordPress, our thoughts would be to just keep this blog live but not updated.

However, this blog and the Blogger platform is still popular as ever. After some thought, we've decided to not just update this blog but to expand topics at the same time.

We will still bring you the type of reading you've been use to, content on marketing, branding and leadership.

And, at the same time, we will add some personal stuff too, what we like in a variety of topics, inspiration and trends. Take for example, this bagel photo. We love bagels and if you are planning on visiting Montreal, do stop at one of our many bagel shops, where they bake these bagels on an open-fire oven. Simply yummy!

As for the design, we wanted to back to basic, blog basics. Simple and clean with quality content and great photos.

Eight SEO Tips for Your Page

SEO is a pretty dry and boring topic. That's why I go for the easy tips to help optimize my posts and here they are!

SEO Tips for Your On-Page:

  1. Spread all three H tags (H1, H2 and H3) in your post.
  2. Ensure relevant usage of bold or italics properly for SEO optimization.
  3. Ensure your Keyword appears in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page.
  4. Ensure you place your keyword in your title of your post.
  5. Optimize your keyword by making sure that your post has a keyword density between 3% to 5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing).
  6. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword.

What does a good On-page SEO look like?

This is a H3 heading, by the way…. In addition to the tips mentioned-above, with Google’s recent update, your SEO for your Page is more important than ever.

Tip #7: Do make sure that your H1 heading includes your keyword phrase. The good news is that you don’t have to sacrifice length for technique. You can write out your H1 title as long as you needs it to be, just make sure the title makes sense and, again with your keyword phrase.

Tip #8: Don’t forget to add videos (another thing I’m not good at!) to your posts. Google loves videos!
